It is 2 years that I am working with an EXAGO unit. I am very satisfied with it. I was formerly using an Aloka device which was good and I was afraid with the idea of changing my equipment. I quickly got used to my new scanner and had been very impressed by the image quality. Even the battery is of a good quality. I was not fully convinced about comfort and time capacity of the scanner (I guessed I would be obliged to recharge it within the day) but it would currently be difficult for me to do without. Image quality is the most impressive. No reliability problem. Advices & tricks given by salesmen in addition.
Here goes the reasons why I work With Imago and Why I advice anyone to buy it if feels that ultrasonography is a good tool to help bovine vets. For me the accuracy of the image is very important ( when I do any ultrasound diagnosis , I have to really see and not imagine in order to give a correct diagnosis ) which gives to the vet the possibility of precocious and proper decisions. A good software helping me storing , interpreting and changing the parameters of the images is also important. The durability of the battery is something that we should keep in mind in order to have a good portability ( together with the low wheigt of Imago ). The last but also important, is the possibility of changing probes which gives the power of using Imago in Internal Medicine, Locomotor sYstem (not only in reproductive issues - female and male). These are the main reasons why I have and use Imago
IMAGO I'm very picky on the job and I expect from myself always the best. Even when it comes to choosing an ultrasound, I can not be satisfied: I pretend it's reliable, it's durable, it's ergonomic and that has a dynamic software with excellent image quality. For this I chose IMAGO. EXAGO Who said that a portable ultrasound unit can not be used in bovine reproduction? I work with EXAGO, because it is unique: an outstanding image quality, a modern and evolving software. The ability to capture images that I want and also take videos. For people like me who seeks perfection, choose EXAGO was needed.
I have used the EXAGO for four years and I check during the breeding season between 50 and 100 mares every day, I never have problem with this scanner and I am entirely pleased, the screen definition is perfect. Thanks to ECM for this very good scanner
As one of the leading pig breeding companies, TOPIGS applies ultrasound scanning for many years in its breeding program. Some years ago we moved forward to the Exago from ECM. The system provides high-quality images and has a user-friendly interface. What we like most is the robustness of the system. Ultrasound scanning of pigs in a barn can be challenging (dust, humidity, living animals, etc.). The Exago proves to be a reliable system in these circumstances. The build-in battery protects us to other problems like power-peaks and power failures during scanning.
Alexander Schirmer uses a made in France ultrasound, Imago S from ECM “I love it” it is robust, practical, with a touch screen. “In the past I had a scanner with goggles, it was very good outside, but inside the barn it was burning my eyes.”
26 years of experience, 25000 bovine ultrasound every year. I use the Imago S everyday, this unit gives a reliable fast and precise diagnosis as well as a lot of comfort for an all terrain machine! I scan beef and dairy cows with peace of mind, thanks to its long life interchangeable battery, I like its robustness and its light weight. The Touchscreen makes settings simple and easy.
